An archetypal lounge chair, the F-Chair evolved out of the C-Chair and shares the same tapered rear legs, though the F-Chair features upright front legs. The more relaxed incline and paddle-shaped armrests, together with its woven seat which widens at the front, make the F-Chair an altogether more leisurely affair.

Designer Bio: Marcel Gascoin

French designer Marcel Gascoin (1907-1986) was one of the leading furniture designers of the post-war era. He played a vital role in the reconstruction of France after World War II, where his streamlined wooden furniture, focused on clean aesthetics and functionality, became the staple for 1950s French households.

Gascoin worked as an interior architect and designer with the French Ministry of Reconstruction and Urbanism to design and build homes and the furniture to fill them during the post-war housing crisis in France. Forward-thinking for his time and with a strong social conscience, Gascoin’s democratic design drew lines between art and industry, converging clean aesthetics with rational manufacturing processes.

All workmanship is guaranteed for two years from the date of purchase. Fabrics are covered by this warranty for 1 year after date of purchase.

Warranty does not cover damage caused by negligence, willful damage, misuse or failure to care properly for goods. Freight charges and service calls made after goods have been signed for in good order may incur additional charges. A copy of the original invoice and images are required for warranty requests. Warranty for brands carried by Bodhi Living will be passed on as per the manufacturer’s Warranty / guarantee.   

Delivery and Returns

We offer shipping nationwide through our wide range of delivery partners. Shipping rates are calculated based on the size and weight of the order. Premium white glove delivery, including rubbish removal and install can also be discussed upon purchase.

International shipping is quoted in Australian dollars and is not inclusive of country-specific import duty.
