Kawa Dining Table

The Kawa Dining Table is a sculptural celebration of craftsmanship, material, and time. Handcrafted in Byron Bay from well-aged, reclaimed silky oak, each slab tells its own story through natural patina, live edges, and character-filled cracks.

Japanese-style Nagasaki bow-tie joins are carefully inlaid to honour and preserve these imperfections, creating a timeless piece that embodies the wabi-sabi philosophy - beauty in imperfection. The minimalist design allows the wood’s natural texture and grain to take centre stage, making this dining table a true statement for both contemporary and organic interiors.

The Kawa is finished with a food-safe, transparent oil and wire-brushed to highlight the tactile surface of the aged timber. Custom dimensions are available, ensuring each table is as unique as the space it inhabits.

Product Care

In order to care for the appearance of your timber product, we suggest avoiding direct contact with heat, liquid, and abrasive cleaners or chemicals. Also, avoid placing hot items like mugs or plates on the surface without coasters or placemats underneath, this will prevent marks and stains. To remove any dirt or dust, simply use a damp cloth.

Warranty

All workmanship is guaranteed for two years from the date of purchase. Fabrics are covered by this warranty for 1 year after date of purchase.

Warranty does not cover damage caused by negligence, willful damage, misuse or failure to care properly for goods. Freight charges and service calls made after goods have been signed for in good order may incur additional charges. A copy of the original invoice and images are required for warranty requests. Warranty for brands carried by Bodhi Living will be passed on as per the manufacturer’s Warranty / guarantee.   

Delivery and Returns

We offer shipping nationwide through our wide range of delivery partners. Shipping rates are calculated based on the size and weight of the order. Premium white glove delivery, including rubbish removal and install can also be discussed upon purchase.

International shipping is quoted in Australian dollars and is not inclusive of country-specific import duty.
