Loribaft rugs are woven by the Lori, a nomadic and semi-nomadic pastoral tribe spread across the Zagros Mountains of southwestern Iran, closely related to the Qashqai and Bakhtiari tribal groups in weaving tradition and lifestyle. Hand-knotted using hand-spun, naturally lustrous wool, Loribaft rugs are known for their soft, informal character, often featuring tribal geometric motifs or, as with contemporary pieces, graduated tonal fields achieved through hand-carded wool in varying natural shades. The coarser knot and thicker pile compared to city workshop rugs give them a relaxed, textural quality, while the use of undyed or lightly dyed wool produces the warm, earthy colour gradients the style is known for today.

All workmanship is guaranteed for two years from the date of purchase. Fabrics are covered by this warranty for 1 year after date of purchase.
Warranty does not cover damage caused by negligence, willful damage, misuse or failure to care properly for goods. Freight charges and service calls made after goods have been signed for in good order may incur additional charges. A copy of the original invoice and images are required for warranty requests. Warranty for brands carried by Bodhi Living will be passed on as per the manufacturer’s Warranty / guarantee.
