Hand-flatwoven wool kilims from the Mazandaran province of northern Iran, a lush Caspian coastal region known more broadly for agriculture and textiles than for the dense knotted-pile traditions of central Iran. Kilims from this region are typically flatwoven rather than piled — produced using a tapestry-weave technique where the weft threads are packed tightly to conceal the warp, giving a flat, reversible textile rather than a plush pile rug. This makes them lighter, more durable underfoot in high-traffic areas, and historically suited to everyday domestic use rather than as formal display pieces.

All workmanship is guaranteed for two years from the date of purchase. Fabrics are covered by this warranty for 1 year after date of purchase.
Warranty does not cover damage caused by negligence, willful damage, misuse or failure to care properly for goods. Freight charges and service calls made after goods have been signed for in good order may incur additional charges. A copy of the original invoice and images are required for warranty requests. Warranty for brands carried by Bodhi Living will be passed on as per the manufacturer’s Warranty / guarantee.
