Bring a touch of earthy elegance into your home with this Small Raku Vase by ceramic artist Jacqui Sosnowski. Handcrafted using the traditional Raku firing technique, this vase features subtle orange markings and a delicate crackle effect, making each piece entirely unique.
Its organic form and warm tones make it a versatile piece - display it as a stand-alone sculpture or pair it with dried botanicals to highlight its artisanal beauty. As with all of Jacqui’s work, no two pieces are ever alike, embodying the serendipity and unpredictability of Raku ceramics.
A collectible piece that balances ancient tradition with contemporary style.
About the Artist
Jacqui Sosnowski specialises in alternative firing techniques - Obvara, Raku, Saggar, and wood firing. She is drawn to the serendipity and unpredictability of these processes, where each piece emerges from the fire with its own distinct markings and character. Every vase is one-of-a-kind and cannot be reproduced, celebrating chance, artistry, and imperfection.
From her studio in Mullumbimby, Northern Rivers (NSW, Australia), Jacqui creates both exhibition works and bespoke commissions. Her pieces embody the spirit of the land and the artistry of fire, offering timeless beauty for modern interiors.
